Policy Exchange’s ideas have impact

and our research consistently makes headlines,

influences the national debate and has its

recommendations adopted into policy.

As a charity we exist on the generosity of our donors – corporate, individuals or trusts and foundations. We have seen our proposals on education, policing and prisons, the health service and community cohesion adopted by the major political parties and we are continuing to frame the debate. We know that the commitment of our supporters stems from the strength of their ideas and we strive to keep all our donors as involved as possible.

Corporate Engagement

Policy Exchange appreciates the intellectual and practical input business can make to the wider policy debate. There are three main ways for businesses to partner with Policy Exchange:

  • The Business Forum
  • Research programmes
  • Events

Our Policy Units value the opinions of businesses and welcome the opportunity to discuss policy in the light of their research programmes.

Equally, we have come to regard the input of businesses as a vital part of many of our events, be they public (such as our high-level panels at the Party Conferences) or private forums.

Business Forum

The Policy Exchange Business Forum, launched in 2003 and re-launched in 2019, aims to create a hub for innovative thinking on key areas of social and economic policy. The unparalleled convening power of Policy Exchange makes membership of our Business Forum vital for government relations teams from a large variety of sectors.

The Forum provides a space for political and policymaking insights and brings a host of other benefits including monthly breakfast or lunch briefings, invitations to our events and receptions including our annual summer party, research briefings across more than eleven different policy areas, the opportunity to partner with individual research units

The AUKUS Industry Forum

Policy Exchange is delighted to announce the launch of our AUKUS Industry Forum, as part of a new AUKUS Network for education and knowledge-sharing about this vital trilateral project.

Bringing together industry, academia, the media, civil society, unions, and other key actors in the AUKUS project, and working across the political parties, the AUKUS Network will focus on improving public education and engagement with AUKUS in order to raise the profile of this significant new security and technology alliance.

Led by Sophia Gaston, Head of Foreign Policy at Policy Exchange, the AUKUS Industry Forum will provide a vibrant space for open dialogue between  key stakeholders in the AUKUS project with the aim of providing new policy ideas, and facilitating cross-sectoral knowledge that will strengthen the UK’s stakeholder ecosystem around the project.

The Industry Forum will include a dynamic events programme of high-level workshops, briefings and international speakers, hosted at Policy Exchange’s offices in the heart of Westminster. The first workshops will be held in October and December 2023.

If you are interested to learn more about the Forum or discuss engagement, please contact georgie.krone@policyexchange.org.uk

We are extremely proud of our independence. We do not accept commissions or any public money. Our senior management and dedicated Heads of Units decide which policy projects to pursue, and we always retain full editorial control over all our research.  As an educational charity, we welcome and seek financial support for our work, but donors have no say over the outcome of the research.
