It’s a sign of the times when not only the great, but also the good signal their disillusion with the European Court of Human Rights. Such was the case at a meeting of the Policy Exchange think tank last week when Sir Noel Malcolm of All Souls College, Oxford, summed up his recent book Human Rights and Political Wrongs.
The event in question also featured Baroness O’Neill of Bengarve, CH, CBE, FRS, FBA, FMedSci, former Chair, Equality and Human Rights Commission, Professor John Finnis, FBA, QC (Hon), University of Oxford, and Rt Hon Lord Phillips of Worth Martravers, KG, PC, Former President of the UK Supreme Court. It was chaired by Professor Richard Ekins, Head of Policy Exchange’s Judicial Power Project.
