Sophie is Director of Government & Parliamentary Affairs at Policy Exchange. Sophie has spent 15 years working within the UK and European Parliaments. She has extensive experience advising politicians, including the UK Foreign Affairs Spokesperson at the European Parliament and has worked as a senior parliamentary adviser to three Government Ministers at departments including Transport, Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs, Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, the Home Office and the Treasury. Prior to joining Policy Exchange, Sophie spent four years as a Special Adviser to two Government Chief Whips across a period which spanned Brexit, the 2019 General Election, the Covid-19 pandemic, and changes of administration.
