Sophia Gaston
Sophia Gaston is a foreign policy analyst and a researcher focused on strengthening the resilience of mature liberal democracies in the 21st Century. Her research explores how best Britain can advance its core strategic interests, respond to the rise of authoritarian states like China and Russia, and reinvigorate its closest alliances. Sophia has pioneered influential social research on foreign policy public opinion in the United Kingdom, and has authored several major studies on the integration of domestic and international policy agendas. Sophia most recently spent three years as the Director of the British Foreign Policy Group. She is a Research Fellow at the LSE and an Academic Fellow at the European Policy Centre.
