The uncertainty of the political landscape is unprecedented in recent times.  Against a backdrop of Brexit, a weakened Government, national security and the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower, housing is emerging as the single biggest issue preoccupying voters across the country.

There is now a general consensus that we must not only build more homes but also ensure that these are of higher standard. Delivering at least 250,000 more quality homes a year – of the right design and style – that meets the need and aspiration of people across all demographies is one of the greatest challenges of our time.
