Policy Exchange is delighted to be hosting the official launch of the second volume of Charles Moore’s acclaimed biography of Margaret Thatcher – Everything She Wants.

Based on unrestricted access to all Lady Thatcher’s papers, unpublished interviews with her and all her major colleagues, this second volume covers the central, triumphal years of her premiership, from the Falklands to the General Election victory of 1987. In dialogue with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt Hon George Osborne MP, Charles Moore will explore Lady Thatcher’s role during this critical point in her career.

Charles Moore was Chairman of Policy Exchange from 2005 to 2011 and became a Visiting Scholar here in 2015. He is a columnist at The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph and The Spectator. He was Editor of The Spectator from 1984 to 1990, Editor of The Sunday Telegraph from 1992 to 1995 and Editor of The Daily Telegraph from 1995 to 2003.
