Rt Hon Lord Waldegrave of North Hill PC
Rt Hon Lord (William) Waldegrave of North Hill PC worked in the Central Policy Review Staff in the Cabinet Office from 1971 to 1973 before becoming Edward Heath’s political secretary. After working in GEC Ltd he was elected MP for Bristol West in 1979. He was a Minister from 1981 to 1989 including seven years in the Cabinet. After losing his seat in 1997 he worked in the City before becoming Provost of Eton from which he retired in 2024.  He is a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford.
