Policy Exchange convened a distinguished panel to discuss the future of general practice. The release of the latest GP Patient Survey data shows a dramatic decline in public satisfaction with general practice over the past twelve months.

This panel discussion featured Dr Claire Fuller, CEO of the Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care System (and the author of a recent NHS review), Jacob Lant, Head of Policy, Public Affairs and Research at Healthwatch England, Professor Martin Marshall, Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and Declan Mullaney, Head of Policy and Public Affairs at Livi, Europe’s largest digital healthcare provider.

The panel explored possible solutions to improve patient experience of access to appointments, the issue of under provision of services, and ways to tackle workforce issues.
